Privacy Policy

Simply Invite is an online service for creating event invitations and collecting RSVPs. Hosts use it to invite their guests, and guests use it to reply. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Hosts: your name, email address and sign-in credentials, plus the events, invitations and guest lists you create.
• Guests: your name, and any email address or phone number provided by you or by your host, together with your RSVP reply, answers to the host's questions and any notes you add.
• Text message consent: if you opt in to text messages we record your mobile number, the consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the IP address and browser used.
• Usage information: basic, privacy-friendly analytics about pages viewed, and whether an invitation link has been opened.

• To deliver invitations and record RSVP replies for the host.
• To send service emails about an event, such as RSVP confirmations, reminders and updates to event details.
• To send a text message confirming your RSVP, only if you opted in. That is the only text message we send.
• To keep accounts secure and to prevent abuse.
• To operate, maintain and improve the service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use guest contact details for advertising.

The only text message Simply Invite sends is a confirmation of your RSVP, and only if you ticked the optional text message box on the RSVP form. We do not send reminders or marketing by text. Consent is not a condition of replying to an invitation.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. See the text messaging section of our Terms for details.

• The host of your event sees the RSVP reply, answers and contact details of their own guests.
• Service providers that host the service, store its data, and deliver email on our behalf. They may use information only to provide those services to us.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We keep event information for as long as the host keeps the event, and consent records for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance. Guests can change a reply at any time from their invitation link.

To access, correct or delete your information, contact us at hello@simplyinvite.co. If your request concerns an event you were invited to, we may involve the host of that event.
